At Adhiroha, discipline is not a restriction — it is the foundation the whole transformation stands on. These guidelines keep our ashram in Rishikesh safe, respectful and focused, so that every student can give themselves fully to the practice. Please read them before you enrol.

Why We Ask for Discipline
Motivation comes and goes from moment to moment. Discipline is what remains — the solid foundation on which people actually reach their goals. That is why Adhiroha places it at the centre of everything, and why our guidelines exist at all.
This is the yogic arithmetic of transformation — and it only works inside a supportive, focused environment. Students at Adhiroha are expected to bring commitment, dedication and discipline, and to follow the guidelines of the school. In return, the ashram gives you an atmosphere in which real personal progress becomes almost inevitable.
A note on language: the entire program — all teachings and training sessions — is conducted exclusively in English. Translations of website content in selected native languages are provided solely to help readers understand the program structure and details, and are for informational purposes only.
The Four Pillars of Our Code
Every rule on this page grows out of one of these four principles. Understand them, and the rest of the code will feel less like regulations — and more like mindfulness among people who respect each other.
Respect
Deep reverence for fellow practitioners, teachers, staff and the ashram itself — honouring guidelines, traditions, personal boundaries and the privacy of others.
Discipline
Adherence to the schedule and the instructions, consistency in practice, and punctuality in every ashram activity — the dedicated approach the yogic journey demands.
Community
An inclusive, supportive environment where individuals come together, connect, and carry each other along on their spiritual journey.

Our social way of greeting one another, offered with the Namaste mudra — a traditional expression of reverence and respect toward everyone you meet here.

Tell Us, So We Can Take Care of You
Please inform your teachers in advance about any physical limitations, health concerns or previous injuries — this is what allows them to guide you safely through the training. During every practice, stay fully present and attentive: it prevents injuries and it is also how you receive the most from each class.
While every effort is made to maintain a safe environment, participation in the training is at the student’s own responsibility, and the management cannot be held responsible for injuries that may occur during or after the training. Practise with awareness, and with respect for your own limits.
The Rhythm of the House
Welcome to our ashram in Rishikesh, where we hold a strong commitment to a harmonious, transformative environment. Here is the daily and weekly rhythm every resident lives by.
A minimum attendance of 90% is required to be eligible for your certificate.
Six days a week of dedicated, consistent yogic practice and study.
One full day set aside to restore and rejuvenate your energy reserves.
For everyone’s well-being and security — a peaceful night’s sleep before the next day begins.
Students live at the ashram throughout — a focused, immersive experience of growth, connection and community.
Upper: t-shirts with half or full sleeves. Bottoms: full length. Modest dress supports a focused, respectful atmosphere on the yogic path.
Our Zero Tolerance Policies
These few rules protect everyone at the ashram. Failure to adhere to them may result in immediate dismissal from the course — without exceptions or justifications considered.
Revealing Clothing
Shorts, sleeveless tops, crop tops and backless tops are not permitted anywhere within the premises.
Public Display of Affection
Hugging, kissing and other public displays of affection are prohibited within the ashram premises.
Prohibited Substances
Alcohol, drugs, smoking and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited inside the premises — as is arriving intoxicated. Violations can mean expulsion and legal consequences pursued by local authorities.
Harassment & Sexual Conduct
No form of harassment, proposal or innuendo with a sexual connotation is tolerated — in class or in any Adhiroha activity. Report any incident to the management immediately; prompt corrective action will be taken.
Disrespect & Foul Language
Disrespectful behaviour or foul language toward staff or management is strictly prohibited. Professionalism, courtesy and respect are expected at all times.
These guidelines exist for one reason: to keep Adhiroha a safe, respectful and transformative space for every single person who lives and practises here.

The management reserves the right to cancel a student’s admission at any time without prior notice. This may be based on various factors — including circumstances beyond our control, previous experiences that do not meet the institution’s standards, or any violation of our policies and code of conduct.
Admission may also be cancelled before or during the course if a student’s intentions, conduct or participation do not align with the educational standards and values of the institution, or if they are found to have enrolled for non-genuine purposes.
Since we operate with a limited number of seats, management reserves the right to change room assignments, including upgrading or downgrading the sharing option.
Fees & Refunds
Fees shown in Euros are for international reference only — invoices are prepared in INR as per Indian Government regulations, and fees include GST.
All fees, whether paid in full or partially, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be sure of your commitment before making a payment. If a student withdraws after paying a deposit or the full fee, the amount is not reimbursed — but it can be applied toward a rescheduled course on a future date, subject to availability. We are unable to process refund requests for course cancellations under any circumstances.
Registration fees paid for a specific course are non-transferable and cannot be applied to any other course.
Rescheduling & Changing Your Joining Month
To reschedule, students must give a minimum of one month’s notice from the course’s scheduled start date. Requests made with less notice cannot be accommodated, and the registration fee is forfeited.
With prior notice, we allow a one-time change of joining month at no additional cost. Any further changes carry an administrative fee of €150.
For manual course registration via bank transfer, confirmation is subject to seat availability. Fees paid this way remain non-refundable, but can be applied to future registrations without any time limit — especially relevant when only a few seats remain and you register directly instead of through the website.
No-Show Policy
If there is no communication from a student and no response is received until 6 days before the course start date, the student is categorised as a no-show and their seat is allocated to another student. Once reallocated, the seat cannot be returned to the original student under any circumstances.
