The essence of the universe lies in vibration — and for six residential days in the quiet of Upper Tapovan, you learn to work with it. You leave with the Adhiroha certificate — and a skill the world’s wellness spaces are actively looking for.

More Than a Certificate
Living at Adhiroha
There is something worth saying plainly, right at the start: this is a real ashram, not a hotel with a workshop attached. The six days are immersive — you live here, eat here and practise here — and we would rather you knew that before you booked than felt misled once you arrived. It is a fair trade, though. Here is both sides of it.
What the course gently asks
A few early starts
The best of Rishikesh happens as the sun comes up over the river — the mornings are worth rising for.
Unplugging for a while
A willingness to set the phone down and let the outside world wait for a week.
An open mind
Curiosity more than commitment — pick up every instrument, sit in every session, and let the vibrations do their work.
An ashram — not a resort
What it quietly gives back
A quiet, calm place
A peaceful ashram, calm by design — not a party with a timetable attached.
A skill in your hands
Daily practicals with bowls, gongs and forks — by the last day you are confidently running full healing sequences yourself.
A quieter mind
Space to hear yourself think again, and to sit comfortably with your own thoughts.
You arrive curious about sound, and leave fluent in it — able to hold a room in vibration, and to hold yourself in stillness.

The ashram
Amenities at Our Sound Healing School in Rishikesh
A practice always takes on the shape of the space it happens in, and we have spent years making ours feel right. The ashram spreads across three quiet acres beside a flowing brook, ringed by hills and forest — and every corner of it exists for a reason.
A 360-Degree Forest-View Shala
A bright, purpose-built shala that opens onto forest and mountains on every side — props, a small library, and space enough that a class never feels crowded. Practising with green and sky all around you does something four studio walls simply cannot.

A Peaceful Three-Acre Ashram
Set on three acres beside the brook, the grounds stay calm even when a full batch is in residence — a small Shiva temple for quiet sitting, shaded corners for reading, and the soft sound of running water that slows everyone down within a day or two.

An In-House Cafe and Massage Centre
On rest days there is a cosy cafe serving healthy organic drinks and snacks, and an Ayurvedic massage centre for when the body asks for it. After a hard week of practice, an hour of traditional massage is less a luxury than genuine self-care.

Cozy Sitting Areas Everywhere
Quiet spaces dotted around the ashram, made simply for unwinding — reading, journalling, or easy conversation with people who stop being strangers within a day or two. A surprising amount of the real learning happens in these unhurried in-between moments.

Why Rishikesh
Why Rishikesh
The Setting Does Half the Work
You could learn to strike a bowl in almost any city. What you could not find is this. Rishikesh sits exactly where the Ganga Ji leaves the mountains and meets the plains — a threshold place that has drawn seekers for thousands of years. Temple bells, the river, the wind through the forest: the whole town is already an orchestra of healing sound.
Sound transforms energy — and where you study it matters. Our Himalayan surroundings naturally amplify the effects of the practice: the flowing brook and forest breeze deepen relaxation, so your own body receives the frequencies fully even as you learn to offer them to others.
Set a little above the busy riverbank, in the calm of Upper Tapovan, every sound wave here feels more alive, more powerful, and more transformative.
Your Home for the Week
Where You Will Stay
Where you stay plays a real part in this training. The ashram sits on three quiet acres beside a flowing brook, wrapped in hills and forest, and the accommodation is designed for healing vibrations — quiet rooms that let the day’s frequencies settle in while you sleep.
Clean, airy rooms full of natural light, most looking straight out at the mountains
Ensuite washrooms with dependable hot water, around the clock
Quiet, peaceful interiors that enhance the subtle after-effects of sound work
Reliable high-speed WiFi and safe RO drinking water throughout the ashram
Twin or triple sharing for the full six days — comfortable, clean and calm
Students often say they never slept so deeply — a body bathed in bowls all day tends to switch off the moment the lights do.
Satvik & Ayurvedic Local organic farms Herbal teas & morning fruit Desserts — a small fan club
The kitchen runs on one quiet belief: over time, you become what you eat. Three nourishing vegetarian meals arrive each day, cooked in the Satvik and Ayurvedic way, built around exactly what a body in deep energetic work actually needs. The ingredients come fresh from local organic farms, and everything is prepared simply, without fuss.
Do not mistake simple for plain, though. Most guests are quietly surprised by how good the food is. Eating this way for six days does something you notice quickly: lighter mornings, steadier energy, a clearer head on the mat.
Much of what you learn here about living well is not taught in a classroom at all — it is absorbed from the rhythm of simple meals, early nights and unhurried mornings.

Why It Works
Benefits of Sound Healing & Therapy
Sound waves resonate with the body’s energy centres in ways modern wellness is only beginning to measure — and traditions have trusted for millennia. These are the six changes students and their future clients feel most, and each one is a skill you will learn to offer.
01 · The Nervous System
Stress Reduction & Deep Relaxation
The first thing every sound bath delivers — vibration switches the body from fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest, often within minutes. You will learn to create that shift reliably, for a room full of people at once.
02 · The Mind
Enhanced Mental Clarity
Steady frequencies quiet mental chatter the way a hand stills water — thoughts settle, and focus returns sharper than before.
03 · The Heart
Emotional Healing
Sound reaches feelings that words cannot — old tension releases gently, without needing to be explained first.
04 · The Body
Pain Management
Vibration therapy is used the world over to ease chronic tension and pain — you will learn where to place the bowls, and why it works. The body softens under resonance in a way passive rest rarely achieves.
05 · The Energy Body
Chakra Balancing
Each energy centre answers to its own frequency. The Vedic side of the training maps them one by one — which bowl, which placement, which sequence — until balancing a client’s energy field becomes methodical rather than mystical.
06 · The Night
Improved Sleep
Clients book sound baths for stress and come back for the sleep — slower brainwaves at night follow the session like an echo.
Common Questions
Sound Healing Course FAQs
The practical questions we hear most about the sound healing course, answered plainly. If yours is not here, just write to us — a real person replies, both before you come and long after you have gone home.
What is Sound Healing & Therapy, and how does it work?
Sound healing uses vibration and frequency to restore harmony in the mind, body and spirit. Instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and ocean drums create sound waves that resonate with the body’s energy centres — releasing tension, quieting the mind and inviting deep relaxation. Our training combines the Tibetan and Vedic approaches into one method you can practise professionally.
Who can join? Do I need any experience?
The course is open to everyone, and no experience is needed. Yoga instructors, wellness coaches and complete beginners all train side by side — everything is taught step by step, from your first vibration to advanced therapeutic applications, across levels 1, 2 and 3.
Which instruments will I learn to use?
Tibetan singing bowls and gongs form the heart of the training, alongside crystal bowls, tuning forks, rain sticks, ocean drums and sound-based water therapy. All instruments are provided at the ashram — though if you already own bowls, you are welcome to bring them.
How long is the course, and how do the days run?
Six days and five nights. You arrive on the 24th and depart on the morning of the 29th, after breakfast. Each day pairs classroom theory with two hands-on practical sessions, a daily Q&A with your instructor, and Bhakti yoga in the evening — lights out at 21:00.
What does it cost, and what is included?
Triple sharing is €690 and double sharing €795, All-Inclusive. That covers your six-day stay, three vegetarian meals a day, study material and welcome kit, all training instruments, hot-water ensuite rooms, WiFi, and RO, detox and herbal drinks. A €300 registration reserves your seat and is always part of the total.
What certification will I receive?
With 90% attendance and participation in the evaluation, you are awarded the Adhiroha Sound Healing & Therapy Teacher Training certificate covering levels 1, 2 and 3 — an internationally valued credential that recognises your ability to conduct healing sessions professionally.
Can I use these skills in yoga classes or wellness work?
Very much so — that is why many of our students come. Graduates weave sound therapy into yoga classes, reiki practice, breathwork and holistic retreats, where it deepens emotional release and supports profound client transformation.
What should I bring?
Just the essentials — comfortable, modest clothing and an open mind. Every instrument you train with is provided. If you are already on a sound therapy journey and own your own bowls, bring them along and learn on the instruments you will use at home.
Is there any support after the course?
Yes. Your teachers remain a message away for guidance as you begin offering sessions, and you leave with the study material, sequences and the confidence of having practised on real people every single day of the training.
How do I reserve my seat?
Register through the form below or write to us directly — a €300 registration reserves your place, always as part of the total fee, never an extra. We will confirm your dates and arrival details, and stay on hand for anything you need before you travel.
