Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT
GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO OUR GUIDELINES

At Adhiroha, the importance of discipline is emphasised in the practice of yoga. While motivation can vary from moment to moment, discipline provides a solid foundation for individuals to achieve their life goals. The process of cultivating discipline involves following specific practices consistently for 21 days to break old habits, and then continuing these practices for another 21 days to establish new habits.

Adhiroha prioritizes discipline for personal transformation, upholding guidelines in our premises in Goa and Rishikesh. These guidelines create a supportive and focused environment for students' growth.

At Adhiroha, students are expected to show commitment, dedication, and discipline, following the guidelines set by the school. By upholding discipline, a conducive atmosphere is created for personal progress and enriching the training program.

The foundation of Adhiroha's Code of Conduct rests on the following principles:

1. Respect: The first pillar focuses on cultivating a deep sense of respect, encompassing reverence for fellow practitioners, teachers, staff, and the Ashram environment. It entails honouring guidelines, traditions, personal boundaries, and privacy of others for a harmonious atmosphere.

2. Discipline: The second pillar emphasises discipline in the yogic journey, involving adherence to the schedule, instructions, and consistent practice. It highlights the dedicated approach to Ashram practices, activities, and punctuality.

3. Community: The third aspect focuses on fostering a sense of community. This entails creating an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals can come together, connect, and support each other on their spiritual journey.

4. Greeting: At Adhiroha, the social way of greeting is 'Aum Namaha Shivaya' with the Namaste mudra. This traditional greeting reflects reverence and respect towards others.
