Vipassana is a gentle-yet-thorough introspection technique of meditation. It is an observation-based, self-exploratory journey that focuses on deep interconnection between the mind and body, which is realised through disciplined attention to the physical sensations.
Vipassana is intended to help you explore the nature of reality by a way of self-transformation through self-observation. During these 7 days students will learn to sharpen their awareness of what’s actually going on inside their body at the level of sensations. The entire practice is actually a mental training. Just as we use physical exercises to improve our bodily health, Vipassana can be used to develop a healthy mind.
Vipassana program is a part of 500 hour Meditation TTC. The 7 Days Vipassana Program is held from 23rd through 29th of every month. During this period Adhiroha campus will be on a silent zone. Vipassana students will be given a scheduled time to discuss their doubts/questions/problems with their designated Meditation Teacher every day during the 7 day period. Students may approach the management with any problems related to their stay, health etc. But even these contacts should be kept to a minimum.
