English is the medium of study at Adhiroha. We teach in basic level of English, since many of our students come from Non-English speaking countries.
Will any course material or books be provided?
Yes. You will be provided with a Yoga Teacher Training Manual which includes Theory and Practical aspects. You will also receive an optional list of additional/recommended reading books during the course, which you can purchase from the local bookstore.
How many students are enrolled in each batch of Yoga Teacher Training programs?
Our monthly intake of admissions is maximum 24 students.
Will there be an exam at the end of the program?
There will be a written exam on the last day before the certification ceremony. Each student will also participate in all practical classes by conducting a demo class to other fellow students. Assessments are structured to meet the standards of the Yoga Alliance US and Adhiroha Management.
Do I need to bring yoga accessories?
At Adhiroha we provide all the yoga accessories and props which are required during your training program.

Should I wait for other students during pick up?
The taxi will be ready as soon as you arrive. Transportation is arranged for every individual student. However, if someone is traveling on the same mode of transportation at the same time or within a time period of maximum upto 15 minutes, as you are then we will arrange the transportation together.
What about money exchange?
We do provide the facility of currency exchange to our students on request.
Is it safe for a single female traveler to travel alone?
Rishikesh is extremely famous among international travellers and tourists. Foreigners travel to this place throughout the year. Locals are extremely helpful and welcoming. At Adhiroha, the premises are safe for every student. The entire premises is under CCTV surveillance.
Can I follow my food preferences?
We do try our best to offer delicious food during your stay. Students who are lactose/gluten intolerant will be provided food according to their dietary needs. Please inform Management about the same upon your arrival.
What is the standard Indian electric adaptor that I should carry?
The standard electrical connection in India is 220V, 3-pin round sockets.

What certification will I receive after completion of YTTC?
Upon successful completion of chosen (200/300/500-Hour) YTTC, you will be awarded with a US Yoga Alliance certificate from Adhiroha.
What if I would like to postpone my registration for a different time period or program?
In the event of an unavoidable exigency, Adhiroha at its discretion will permit the student to attend another scheduled program within a 6-month period. You can modify your registration to a different time or program provided we are informed two months in advance of the commencement of the program. The registration/program fees are non-refundable and can be duly adjusted to another training of your choice.
Will I be qualified to teach once I graduate and at what level?
Yes, you will be qualified to teach upon graduation. Graduates of Adhiroha, once issued with the certificate, are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance, US, to become a registered yoga teacher (RYT) as per the level of certification (200/300/500-Hour).
What can I do during my day-off?
Once a week during the training period is a day off for the classes. You can visit the local market, arrange an Ayurvedic body massage, go shopping, or just stay back and relax at the ashram. We will provide local information for these activities, on request.
What if I have to leave a day earlier than the graduation ceremony?
We strongly encourage all our yoga practitioners to complete the program with full dedication and attend graduation ceremony. In case of unavoidable circumstances if you have to leave before the day of completion, please inform us ahead of time regarding the same.
